There are four types of scholarships listed below. These scholarships are given to students who attend Japanese language schools or students who enter an institute of higher education.
1. Japanese Language Education Organization Scholarship for Pre-college Student
This scholarship is for the student who is going to enter a higher education institution next April.
Duration :
April to next March during enrollment in Japanese schools
Award amount :
50,000 yen per month for 1 year
Requirement :
Good attendance records (attendance rate should be more than 90%)
Excellent school grade
The student who is going to enter the university next April.(♣)
2. Scholarship for Financially Self-support International Students
The scholarship is for the student who is going to enter a higher education institution next April.
Duration :
April to next March after graduation from Japanese schools
Award amount :
50,000 yen per month for 1 year
Requirement :
Good attendance records (more than 90%)
Excellent school grades
Excellent EJU test results
The student who is going to enter the university next April.(♣)
3. Scholarship for Financially Self-support International Students
The scholarship is for the student who has good result of “EJU”.
Duration :
April to next March after graduation from Japanese schools
Award amount :
50,000 yen per month for 1 year
Requirement :
Good result of “EJU”
4. Scholarship financially self-support International Student with excellent JLPT
Duration :
April to March after graduation from Japanese schools
Award amount :
50,000 yen per month for 2 years
Requirement :
Good result of “JLPT” level 1
The student who is going to major in “Japanese, Japanese Literature, Studying for Japanese Culture” at the uniersity next April.
♣The 1st and 2nd types of scholarship are givento students who are recommended by the school faculty. ♣There is also a chance for non pre-college students.
